Decent entry level gaming.
Solid entry level gaming computer. Seems to fit our need for a few distraction games. Not likely going to support super high end games but handles our World of Warcraft and a couple others well.

Standard purchase: Low Storage Space
Careful when purchasing because the standard speculation for these gaming PCs is at an extremely low storage space (256GB), the size of my tablet's storage. Normally customers who are buying a gaming PC are gamers, so you will need at least double that space to install your desired games. I had to return my initial purchase since I did not notice, and buy another one modified to have more storage space.

Good but...
I like this desktop but I really wish it would have had options of an SD card reader, Optical drive and a larger power supply. If I need to get external devices, I might as well have a laptop.

Wifi on these are terrible - Bad network cards
The Wifi on these are terrible, they unfortunately use a wifi chip that has know problems. I had to buy a USB wifi adapter because I was getting dropped and had very slow speeds. I was not able to use it at all at some points. So that was annoying, other than that I like it.

Poor customer service when there is a problem
When we ordered this PC we were asked to select 4 to 5 games, which we did. When the PC arrived it worked okay, but the games we selected while ordering were not there. There was no information on how to access these games we selected. When I went to the HP website for support, it needed the PC's serial number. When I entered it in multiple ways, I was told each time to "enter a valid serial number." Fun fact: if HP doesn't recognize the serial number it gave to a product, you cannot access any live person to help you. Ask me how many hours of my day I have wasted to find that out. So we don't have the games we selected when we ordered and the HP website--despite listing these same serial number under the Victus for My Products in My Account--will not provide any help because it does not recognize its own generated serial number.

Very satisfied.
We are pleased with the CPU and its functionality. It works as described for sure!
A frustrating thing was about the monitors. The HP rep helped us choose two new monitors with the CPU but we had to get a new cord/adapter to use both since the CPU is not built to accept two HDMI inputs and that is the type of cord that comes automatically with the monitor. In short, two monitors work. We bought Mf22 models. But we did not know they would not both work automatically so it was a bit of a hassle to get them going. It works fine now and we are overall very pleased with it.

Random performance issues
The shopping and selection experience was good. The pc has performed well. However, I have had occurrences of it locking up and requireing a power button shutdown. The speaker would randomly cut out requiring it to be unplugged and plugged back in, even with a new speaker. The installation instructions were lacking; plug it in, power on, select internet icon from task bar. Mmmm seems like something is missing, oh yeah, connect the monitor.

This unit is a replacement for a unit which would not boot.
This unit does boot.
There was a loud rattle inside the computer, before I booted it. I took the cover off and found the fan blade for the power supply had fallen off. That fan blade did go back OK.
Windows 11 is just awful. It will take me days to make the screen and options anywhere close to my Windows 10 Pro.

Ive had the victus for almost 2 months and I'm very pleased with it. Small, quiet, fast. The delivery took a bit longer than promised, but not by much. I like the fact that the computers are assembled once ordered, so waiting a few extra days wasnt really a problem. I'm hoping this computer lasts as long and as well as my hp laptop did.

A+ for Home Automation & AI Security Cam Software
The PC may be a tad overkill for my use case. It is being used to run Home Automation software and also Security Camera software with AI objection detection on a half-dozen cameras. Everything is working great!
CPU runs continuously at about 8%.
When detecting objects with AI, the GPU will briefly spike up to up to about 40%, but most of the time it's just idling around 1% to 2%.
There's enough spare capacity, that I'll probably also use it to run our Christmas light animations this holiday season.

Very Disappointed
I ordered this machine and when received, it had a TERRIBLE smell of burnt electrical. I had not even plugged it in yet. I contact support and they finally decided to send me a new machine. Before they would build & ship new machine, they waited to receive the defective machine back. HP then sent me a replacement machine and they packed it in a standard oversized brown box with some kraft paper around it. Replacement machine also had a terrible smell like 1st one. I contact support again, and they suggested I upgrade to the Omen series because it is a better machine they told me. So here I wait for a 2nd replacement machine to arrive. HP really messed this order up. DO NOT BUY A Victus.

Amongst the best of the mid-range gaming PCs
This is a fast, reliable machine. I wish it came with more RAM stock, but it performs very well. I use it for both business and light gaming (MMORPG) and it performs well for all tasks, even as a test web server.

Freezes constantly, waste of money
I've had this for a month and since day one it freezes constantly. Sometimes I restart the computer and it freezes before it can finish. Or I turn it on and it freezes before I can open any programs. I've been buying HP since 2011 but after this experience I doubt I will buy any more.

Quiet and smooth
Got this to replace an older HP. Fast shipping, a week ahead of schedule. Packing seems flimsy but is adequate and arrived with no damage. Very light case, easy set-up. Not using it for any games, mostly office and productivity software and internet, so didn't really need the dGPU that came with it. I picked this 6-core i5 CPU with a dGPU over a different HP unit with 10-core i5 CPU with no dGPU, a toss-up at basically the same price from the HP website. Either would've been fine for my basic needs. Very fast startups. Runs silently. No noticeable lag with multiple apps running. Fan (not sure which one) starts high on startup, but it ramps down and the fan noise goes away after few seconds. Minimal bloatware, not intrusive. The "V" window design element on the front of the case with the light looks a bit cheap in my view. Overall a nice PC.

What desktop?
I would absolutely love to review this product. Sadly I have contacted HP support about not receiving it. The first time the support agent told me fed ex received and it was now in there warehouse ie why the tracking info did not work. This was a lie to get me to go away. The second time Daisy apologized for me not receiving the product and assured me they would be sending it out asap and here we are still haven't received tracking information for the second desktop.
So I would love the review the product but instead I'll review the customer service- poor at best.
Tomorrow we contact HP one last time before initiating a chargeback.

Works great
When I received the desktop (which was Late) it worked flawlessly and was very easy to set up. Its a nice computer, works fast with good graphics. My only complaint is the power button is not easy to use as it is recessed too much.

I tried to connect 2 different Xbox controllers, both without success. The controllers were compatible via bluetooth on other pcs/laptops. Are there limitations to the bluetooth for some reason? Is there a way I'm doing it wrong?
