Ekaterina is a PhD in Computational Fluid Dynamics turned Data Scientist. She currently works as a Program Manager for the Data Science Program at Constructor Academy, Zurich focusing on: Teaching Python, DS Toolkit, and Deep Learning; Supervision of Machine Learning and Deep Learning industrial projects; Developing curriculum for the course. She is also actively involved in promoting the latest technology and upskilling. Besides her everyday job Ekaterina also participates as a mentor and jury member in hackathons and related events.

What can you now do on a Z that you couldn’t do before?
As a Program Manager, I am happy to let our students perform their projects on Z by HP leveraging the power of GPUs. Z by HP workstations, with their powerful GPU acceleration, are game-changers for student projects, enabling complex tasks like real-time high-resolution graphics rendering, using local LLMs and advanced machine learning. I am happy to use it myself for personal projects as well.
What is the next thing you want to learn or experiment with on your Z workstation?
As HP Ambassador I want to set a new challenge and start creating videos with different tutorials for the broader audience.
What’s your favorite Z feature?
That’s everything is set up and all you have to do is to clone a pre-existing environment and start your project!
