- SpencerLab study of printer inks sold in North America conducted in September 2021 and commissioned by HP to measure the average yield of 16 brands of non-HP refilled, remanufactured, and counterfeit cartridges compared to Original HP Ink SKUs 952XL, 63XL, 902XL, 950XL, and 951XL. To account for reliability-related supplies issues, defective and failed cartridges have been included in the page yield calculations. Therefore, the reported page yield figures are not based on standard ISO/IEC 24711 methodology, which requires defective supplies to be excluded from the page yield calculation.
