Follow the steps listed below to calibrate your printer.
- Print a copy of this Web page and walk over to the printer you are troubleshooting.
- Press the Menu button
to enter the MENU on the control panel of the printer.
- Press the Down arrow button
to highlight CONFIGURE DEVICE menu.
- Press the OK button
to select CONFIGURE DEVICE menu.
- Press the Down arrow button to highlight PRINT QUALITY menu.
- Press the OK button to select PRINT QUALITY menu.
- Press the Down arrow button to highlight FULL CALIBRATE NOW setting.
- Press the OK button to calibrate the printer.
- The message CALIBRATING... displays on the control panel until the printer finishes calibrating. Note that this will take several minutes. The printer then returns to Ready state after calibration.
- Return to your computer to continue the troubleshooting procedure.
