This printer is intended to work only with cartridges that have a new or reused HP chip, and it uses dynamic security measures to block cartridges using a non-HP chip. Periodic firmware updates will maintain the effectiveness of these measures and block cartridges that previously worked. A reused HP chip enables the use of reused, remanufactured, and refilled cartridges.8 Contribute to the circular economy with HP Planet Partners9 and our PVC alternative media profile database.10

  1. HP Latex R530 Printer requires less operational space than any conventional 4x8 ft flatbed printer, which typically occupies over 28 sqm. This allows for better space efficiency in customer facilities.
  2. Target customers for the HP Latex R530 Printer traditionally use a Print & Mount technique, using rigid material and sticking a self-adhesive vinyl on top. With the HP Latex R530 Printer, they would print directly on the rigid material, saving on average 250 m2 of self-adhesive vinyl per month, thus reducing the amount of material used and disposed of.

  4. Recycled plastic is expressed as a percentage of the total weight plastic. Post-consumer recycled content is based on the definition set in the EPEAT standard for imaging equipment, IEEE 1680.2.
