  • How does Price Match work with other retailers?

    HP NZ Online Store will match any digitally advertised nationally-recognised retailers for prices on identical products, excluding display models and refurbished units.

  • Who will HP price match?

    HP will match a new personal device from recognised brands and retailers that is in-stock on their respective New Zealand websites. The product must share the same key features and specifications with an HP PC from hp.com/nz-en/shop, including but not limited to:

    • Operating system
    • Memory
    • Hard disk drive capacity
    • Graphics solution (i.e. GPU)
    • Screen Size and Resolution
    • Touch capability
    • Processor
    • Warranty

    Please note that the price being matched must include delivery fee.

  • Is Price Match applied before or after a purchase is made?

    Price Match is applied before a purchase is made. Be sure to have the link or details you’ve found of the lower price from a nationally-recognised retailer (advertised online) ready for your Price Match inquiry.

  • Are there any exclusions to Price Match?

    The following exclusions apply:
    • Each Price Match request can only be made for one (1) product at a time
    • The products compared must both be available and in stock at the time of inquiry on both HP Online Store and the nationally-recognised retailer’s store
    • Only products with ‘Price Match Available’ tagging are eligible
    • Price Match requests can only be completed using ‘Bank Transfer’ payment method.

    The following products from HP Online Store are eligible:
    • Regular-pricing products
    • Products part of seasonal sales and coupon offers

    The following products from other nationally-recognised retailers are eligible:
    • Regular-pricing products
    • Products part of seasonal sales and coupon offers

  • Are shipping charges included in the Price Match calculations?

    No, shipping charges are not included. Price Match only applies to the product price alone.

  • Can I apply a coupon after Price Match is applied?

    No, you cannot apply coupons on top of a Price Match offer. Prices after applying Price Match are final.

  • Does Price Guarantee apply to other retailers?

    No, Price Guarantee only applies to products purchased from the HP NZ Online Store.

  • Does Price Guarantee apply only to products with the same model numbers?

    Yes, the product model numbers (SKUs) must be identical in order to apply Price Guarantee. This applies to all categories of products, including Laptops, Desktops, Printers, Monitors and Accessories.

  • Is Price Guarantee applied before or after a purchase is made?

    Price Guarantee is applied before a purchase is made. Be sure to have the link or details you’ve found of the lower price on HP NZ Online Store ready for your Price Match inquiry.

  • Are there any exclusions to Price Guarantee?

    The following exclusions apply:
    • Minimum refund value must be $10.00 or greater
    • Maximum order value of $5,000.00 or less (inclusive of GST)
    • Price reductions must occur within 21 days after the initial order was placed
    • Products must be purchased on or after 1 Aug 2023

    The following does not apply:
    • Third-party promotions, paid membership/ loyalty programs
    • Wholesale or commercial quantities
    • Coupon codes or vouchers (e.g. eBay, Amazon, etc.)
    • Out of stock products
    • Trade-in promotions
    • Shipping charges
    • Pricing errors
    • Bundle offers

  • How will I be refunded if I have purchased using a third-party finance provider, eg. PayPal?

    The funds will be credited to your account with the third-party finance provider. If you have any questions about this, please contact the third-party finance provider.
