Fantastic option to protect expensive laptops
I own a higher end HP laptop that has reached the end of its factory warranty. I am so glad that there is a HP solution through their "HP Care" portal to extend the warranty another 2 years. The price was reasonable. This lowers the cost of the hardware investment by almost half by guaranteeing the laptop has an affordable repair option no matter what.

Support you can rely on.
I perform a lot of help desk for the company I work for and we use HP equipment in the office because they are great machines at a good price point, but more over the service we get from HP when there is an issue has been on matched by other vendors we have tried, Lenovo and Microsoft specifically.

A 3 year next business day onsite hardware support means we don't have to disrupt our operation to bring the laptop somewhere and wait for it to arrive. It is a nobrainer.

Purchase support when you buy the device!
I purchased a Care Pack less than 3 months after purchasing an HP ZBook. HP allows you to purchase a Care Pack within 90 days of original hardware purchase. I bought the Care Pack because I had a defective screen withing the first 90 days (which was covered under the standard warranty) and I figured I might be seeing more problems in the future so I purchased the 3 year ADP care pack.
So far I haven't received my carepack serial number. This serial number links the care pack to the laptop. I have made phone calls and sent emails but I am still waiting for my carepack serial number.
