[1] Tests conducted by Wilhelm Imaging Research, Inc. for HP Inc. indicate that documents printed with HP pigment-based black and pigment-based color inks printed on HP Bright White Inkjet Paper stored in the dark will achieve WIR Dark Storage Permanence Ratings of “Greater Than 200 Years.” Prints also reach “over 100 years” on a variety of papers exposed to indoor light fading (without glass frame), based on ozone tests.[2] UL ECOLOGO® Certification to UL 2801 demonstrates that an ink meets a range of multi-attribute, lifecycle-based criteria related to human health and environmental considerations (see https://www.ul.com/EL ).[3] Easier compared to cartridges that have labels, which must be removed before recycling.[4] Program availability varies.
