Rated 1 out of 5 by D. Sutherland from A WAIST OF TIME ... My feedback is not specifically about your website, though my experience with it could have been better. Instead, I would like to address HP's services and products. At a previous employer that partnered with HP, we received valuable discounts on HP products. Recently, I was in the market for a new laptop and did some research, asking colleagues for their opinions about the HP brand. The feedback was mixed with a 50/50 split. Deciding to explore further, I visited the HP website and found a laptop that meets all my needs for my current role. I proceeded with the purchase and financed the order. Upon placing my order, I encountered several error messages indicating that it couldn't be completed. I contacted HP customer service, but unfortunately, they could not assist. After some investigation, I resolved the issue and submitted the order (# H36134819). I received my order (# H36134819) on Sunday, November 24, 2024. After setting up the laptop, I discovered the camera was not functioning, with error messages indicating no camera was detected. I contacted customer service again, but after being on hold for around an hour, they unfortunately informed me they could not assist with my issue. On Tuesday, November 26, 2024, I reached out again and was transferred to an IT representative. She worked diligently to help me, but after an hour and a half, we could not resolve the problem. She explained that I would need to return the damaged laptop to your warehouse, and a replacement would be sent to me via expedited shipping within 1-2 days. Regrettably, that did not occur, and I had to call twice for updates on the replacement status. Today, December 5, 2024, I spoke with Dylan from customer service. He informed me that the exchange process typically takes five business days, after which my replacement laptop would be dispatched. I must express my disappointment, as I had expected a smoother resolution. It seems unreasonable that I am left waiting for a replacement after purchasing a new item that needs to be fixed. Since your company received the damaged laptop, I would have anticipated a more prompt response to my order. 12/05, at 11:10 AM, I canceled my order with Dylan. Regrettably, this experience has led me to reconsider recommending HP products to others. Additionally, I found it necessary to follow up several weeks later to inquire about my refund, as it appears that the cancellation was not processed, and my credit card continued to be charged for the monthly bill. Transactions should be handled more smoothly. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Iyana from Disappointed! I purchased a business laptop on HP online and my package arrived dented and without a shipping box. They literally shipped a $2,000 laptop without any packaging! The front of the laptop cover has several dents on the outside like it was hit several times with a hard object. So I am pretty sure I received someone else's returned item which I am very unhappy about for the money I spent, I expect to receive a New and unused product. Also, the online description did not clearly highlight that the laptop is not touchscreen which is a major downgrade from my previous laptop. So far I've had the laptop for 3 weeks and it does a lot of glitchy things, like the screen will turn blue/black with those pixelated blocks and it seems to not respond to keyboard inputs or mouse movements occasionally (which makes since considering the laptop is dinged up probably from it being shipped without protect packaging). I am very disappointed in my purchase and overall experience. I will not be buying anymore HP products or recommending HP to any of my clients or peers in my professional network.

Rated 5 out of 5 by APSM from Excellent value for office use. So far this has been a great machine, especially for the price. It has all the power we need, it's fast, light and has a good screen. Coupled with the dock, a great addition to the office.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ole grouch from Previous HP laptop configurations not supported by this notebook After having my notebook for a little over a week, I am pleasantly surprised on its features. I have noted only one negative point. On my two previous HP laptops, I used one of the HDMI ports to drive a cooler deck (I believe this contributes to the extended life of these laptops). On this unit however the single HCMI port would drive the cooler deck when the notebook is turned on, but when the notebook is turned off the cooler deck would momentarily turn off and then on again. I initially used the manual power switch on the cooler deck to turn it off. I contacted the HP technicians and they informed me that the HDMI port could not be used in this manner. I adjusted my configuration to adding a 115V to 5 volt converter with HDMI socket and a 115V extension card. Now I have a cooler deck that is electrically isolated from the notebook. Downside is I must manually use a manual switch on the cooler deck to turn it off and on. I can surmise that more HDMI sockets are more capable and available on larger HP laptops. Had I known this quirk, I probably would have purchased another unit. I am good.....and looking for 3+ or more service from this notebook .....and the HP technician support is excellent in resolving issues.

Rated 4 out of 5 by sphinxrb from OK, but performance-response time a bit slow Good laptop, but performance a bit slow in my opinion, for just opening programs like Excel and such. Bases on specs, it should be faster in response time. My 10 year old desktop with SSD drive/HDD combo performs faster than this laptop. Glad I bought it on sale for $1200 and not regular price of nearly $4000!

Is this. Laptop a good option for graphic designing 2024

    Asked by: hajra
That would depend on the software you want to run. For any software, you would want to check the system requirements from the publisher's website and make sure the device you want to run it on meets the requirements for the setting you would like to use. Updates can change the requirements which can impact what settings you run it on or if you can run it at all. This unit also does not have a GPU which would limit what you can do with graphic design.

There are two AMD Ryzen 7 processor options that appear to be identical, yet there is a 50 dollar difference between them. can you help me understand the difference?

    Asked by: wanderinggnome
Thank you for your question! The two processors in question are different. One is an HS processor and the other option is a U processor. In AMD Ryzen processors, an "HS" processor signifies a higher performance level compared to a "U" processor, meaning the HS is designed for better performance while still maintaining relatively good power efficiency, making it suitable for thin and light laptops that need more power for tasks like gaming, while the "U" processor prioritizes battery life and is optimized for ultra-thin laptops with lighter workloads. Key points about HS and U processors: Power Consumption: HS processors typically have a higher Thermal Design Power (TDP) than U processors, allowing them to draw more power and deliver better performance. Use Case: HS processors are often found in thin and light gaming laptops, while U processors are best for ultra-portable productivity machines. Performance Level: An HS processor will generally outperform a U processor with the same core count due to its higher power allowance.

Hello, I've purchased this EliteBook 865 G10 with AMD pro 7840u, from online store, and I've noticed that mine comes with a touch screen, with no information about its nits, I was wondering if I can change its screen to the 400 nits, later if it was dim?

    Asked by: Dhafar
The touchscreen model is 250 nits. As far as changing the screen, you may want to contact HP Support https://support.hp.com/us-en to see if what your options are.

Like this computer but I don't need 2 USB-C ports and would rather have 3 USB-A ports. Most importantly I need an Ethernet port for hardwired networking. Are these options?

    Asked by: gowest
Thank you for your question! The ports are not customizable on this HP EliteBook 865 16-inch G10 Notebook PC. USB-C hub would be able to provide more USB-A ports and can be purchased from many of our retail partners.
