Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous from Hp laptop not working I ordered 2 hp products which were hp envy x360 13 inch, they both had the same configuration, one was black and the other was white. I turned on the black one and it was working perfectly, everything was fine (accessories). when I turned on the white one, it did turn on but when it asked me to enter the password for the Wi-Fi, it just turned off. After that the laptop is not turning on. when i press the power button, the caps lock key starts blinking with a pattern of 5 long blinks and 3 short blinks. i tried to fix it by downloading the bios update but it didn't work. Please let me know if there's anything i can do to fix this issue!

Rated 5 out of 5 by SuziW from So far so good Lightweight, backlit keyboard, flips to make it similar to a tablet, set up was a breeze… now I’m crossing my fingers it doesn’t die after just a few months. I had 2 Microsoft Surface computers the last few years. Big mistake… they are impossible to fix, and any service requires sending your computer to them. The down time was really hard on my little bookkeeping business. So far, the HP was much less expensive and works better than the Surface.

I think so. Then again, the laptops do it a lot. Send us thew dog-gone disc that you send with desktop PS's! NO prob there. Sad but true

Rated 4 out of 5 by Grace1776 from Nice computer This computer works wonderfully and the graphics are great. The only problem is that every once in a while, the computer will lock the autorotate for no reason. You can still set which way the screen goes, it just doesn't do it automatically. Otherwise, this computer is working well and should be my computer for a while.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from HP ENVY Convertible -like it so far! Love the form factor, and the features. I’ve not been able to get the HP stylus to work. Also sometimes things seem to slow down, but overall pretty happy so far!

Can I use HDMI port when connecting type C Hub on this laptop?

Asked by: RC105
I think the answer from HP misunderstood the question. Yes, you can use an HDMI port with this laptop if it's provided by any standard USB-C hub. The answer HP provided is also incorrect in stating "The GPU on this laptop will only support one display out at a time". If your USB-C hub contains multiple display outputs, such as the HDMI + 2xDP provided by my personal Dell branded hub, this laptop and it's Vega 8 GPU can drive them just fine. I have two external displays connected to my Envy as I write this, for 3 screens running total. Laptop is charging. One single USB-C connection used. Effortless.

How many FPS has the Display from this version: HP ENVY x360 Convert 13-ay1035nr ?

Asked by: Felix06
Thank you for your question! FPS depends on many measurable factors as to what processor, how much RAM, how much GPU, and what is actually being performed on the PC. There is no one set number for FPS when it comes to PCs.

Active pen included?

Asked by: rajib
Thank you for your question! Unfortunately, an active stylus is not included with the purchase of this HP ENVY x360 Convert 13-ay1035nr. The recommended active stylus would be the HP Pen or the HP MPP 2.0 Pen.

Is it come with the wifi module realtek RTL8852ae which has significant issues in connectivity?

Asked by: Rajib
I have received my product yesterday and yes it has the Realtek RTL8852ae chipset for wlan. The wlan driver which came from the oem had low signal strength and I search for a updated driver and found one from lenovo site which resolved the issue. By the way the device is really good. The pen should be included with the product.

Can this charge from it's USB-C port if used with a USB-C PD charger/dock?

Asked by: CarlZ
The answer above, provided by HP, is incorrect. A compatible PD charger will charge this device. I received this device today and have confirmed that it will in fact charge via USB-C with all of my existing USB-C chargers with PD (Power Delivery). All of mine are at least 65W so I don't know what the minimum power spec is, but at the very least higher output USB-C chargers work fine. I have not had to use the included charger. My existing clutter-free USB-C docking solution works and yours probably will too.

Is this good for coding?

Asked by: Le Nhi
Yes. It has 8 cores, 16 threads, which is more than enough horsepower to rip through just about any heavy compile tasks you might encounter. Good battery life. Enough RAM for *most* types of coding (16GB), and plenty of storage for *most* types of coding. The primary downside is the soldered RAM makes upgrading RAM impossible, so if you might need to do something like simulate kubernetes clusters or run a bunch of VMs/containers simultaneously, you might have some issues. Linux support is great using any distro with a kernel version >= 5.17. Everything works out of the box. The portability and battery life of this devices makes coding on the couch feel great, and makes it easy to go to a coffee shop or give a presentation. It also has a great keyboard layout for coding, with dedicated home/end/pgup/pgdn buttons, a rarity in this form factor.
