But on the downside, no place for DVD or for an SD card, tho I was aware of the lack ofthe former when I purchased....also, the plug pulls out too easily and it is difficpult to open lid when closed up. how much to upgrade to backlit keyboard?

This one isn’t customizable. I checked on the similar model that is customizable ending in 00 & it’s $899! No $200 discount! For me the backlit keyboard isn’t worth $200!!!!!

Is HP Laptop 17t-cn300, 17.3" good for light gaming on Roblox? I'm thinking of buying my son a laptop for Christmas and this laptop sounds like a nice and large budget laptop.

For any software, you will want to check the publisher's website for the system requirements to make sure it meets the requirements for the setting you would like to use with that software. Updates can change those requirements which can prevent you from using your preferred settings or stop it from working with your device. With online software, your internet connection will also impact how well it will run. Roblox will currently run on this device.
