Is the “computer” USB-C port Thunderbolt-4 compatible? Can the hub be powered from this connection without using the supplied external power supply (assuming T-bolt port is able to supply sufficient power)?

Hello. Thanks for your question. The HP Universal USB-C Hub works with Thunderbolt 4 ports. It can be powered through its USB-C port, providing up to 65 Watts of power. If your computer's USB-C or Thunderbolt port gives enough power (65 Watts or more), you don't need the external power supply. Additionally, the hub can deliver up to 100 Watt with the 2-in-1 AC Adapter, allowing you to charge both your computer and another device at the same time. Make sure your computer's USB-C port supports USB Power Delivery (PD).

what do i need to purchase for dural monitor support for my HP Laptop 14-cf2703ds (6L6Y0UA)

Hello. Thanks for your question. The HP Laptop 14-cf2703ds has 1 USB Type-C port 5Gbps signaling rate that supports data transfer only and does not support charging or external monitors. You can use an universal USB (USB A) docking station with the HP Laptop 14-cf2703ds. Be sure there are the same video ports that are on the monitors, i.e. HDMI.
