If I purchase another computer from hp I will specify that no trial software be installed unless approved in advance by me. If hp cannot comply I will go to another vendor.

This computer is up to date with the technology of today and so a good step up. Plus I bought the one-time Microsoft Word package and it's been very useful so far. Plus, my cat walked across the keyboard and the computer stopped recognizing the SSD so it would start. But I turned it off, closed the lid and set it aside for a bit. Came back later and everything booted up fine!. I don't give the cat the opportunity to walk on it anymore.

Excellent for the moderate gamer and anything else the average user would need. My only complaint is that it runs a little hot, but I expected that with the upgrades I chose. I put it on a cooling fan base when gaming which seemed to help.

It is lightweight and has a clear screen. Purchased on sale, so it is a decent value. Benchmarks well with high end video setting, although cooling fans are loud under load.

What is the maximum Memory for this laptop?

The OMEN Transcend Gaming Laptop 16t-u100 is user-expandable up to 128 GB DDR5-5600 MHz RAM. As the RAM is not easily accessible, HP recommends upgrades be performed by IT professionals or self-maintainers only.

For the 16t-u100, I noticed in another question here that HP Team stated the max memory is 128GB, but Crucial is recommending a max of 64GB for this model. This is the first time I've seen Crucial recommend less so i wanted to make sure what is the max.
