As a first-time user of a dedicated "over-the-ear" professional headset, here is my honest take: ​The "First Impression" Experience ​The Fit: It’s surprisingly lightweight. I was worried it would feel bulky behind my ear, but after about 20 minutes, I actually forgot I was wearing it. The silicone tips are comfortable, though it takes a second to figure out the best angle to hook it on. ​Audio Quality: The noise cancellation is the real star here. I tested it while standing next to a running dishwasher and my caller said they couldn't hear a thing—just my voice. On my end, the audio is crisp, though it’s definitely tuned for voice, not music. ​The Controls: It feels very intuitive. There are physical buttons for volume and a dedicated mute button on the boom arm, which is much better than fumbling with a touch screen during a meeting. ​What I Loved ​Voice Alerts: When a call comes in, it tells me who is calling and asks "Answer or Ignore?" Being able to just say "Answer" totally hands-free felt like living in the future. ​Smart Sensors: If I’m not wearing it and a call comes in, I can just put it on my ear and it automatically answers. No clicking needed. ​The Learning Curve ​The Charger: This is my only real gripe. It uses a proprietary magnetic connection rather than a standard USB-C or Micro-USB. I lose connection frequently and the charger does not connect well so it’s really difficult to know if you’re charging or not and I have yet to have the battery charge it full capacity.

Can you use it on left or right ear?

Hello. Thanks for your question. Yes, you can wear the Poly Voyager Legend Headset headset on either the left or right ear. ​ To switch the headset to the other ear, rotate the boom upwards, then twist it around so the eartip is on the other side before lowering the boom. ​
