Description

The page scanned through the automatic document feeder (ADF Picture of ADF.) has one or more streaks(s) in the feed (vertical) direction that extend across the entire page.

Most likely causes

  • The ADF glass slit to the left of the flatbed glass (ADF glass window Picture of ADF.) has contamination on it.

Troubleshooting and suggestions

  1. View this video about the issue of lines or streaks when scanning/copying Picture of ADF..
  2. Clean the ADF glass window Picture of ADF. to the left of the flatbed glass. Show me how.
  3. Use the ADF Picture of ADF. to make another copy of a white test page. Show me how.
  4. If the issue is not resolved, contact HP.
