I was on an uneven surface and closing the lid. The hinge was broken and part of the screen cracked. Thenew laptop is to replace the old one. I'll make sure use it ona flat surface.

The laptop runs cool and there is no perceptible fan noise. The display is very bright (500 nits), so I normally keep it at 60 percent brightness. The 16 x 10 ratio is better, too, since it makes it easier to read and scroll text. I'm glad I got the 2880 x 1800 display because the colors and text sharpness are fantastic, and the high 120 Hz refresh rate makes a noticeable difference in scrolling and watching videos. The Envy x360 14 is a very sleek laptop and weighs only 3.06 lbs. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a light, well-made professional laptop.

    Can the Imagepad be disabled by a keypress (or combo), or does it have to be done in Settings or Device Manager or BIOS? Touchpads often mess up documents when they are touched during typing. Not everyone is a touch typist always watching the screen!

If you are referring to the mouse touchpad, the following instructions will assist you: Use the Control Panel Type "control panel" in the Windows search bar, go to Hardware and Sound and click Mouse under Devices and Printers.
