There is a connected USB cable to the device that you would use to connect to a desktop or a laptop. This link https://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06270874.pdf shows the cable and the open ports for headphone as well as auxiliary input. Thank you for your question.

Thanks for your question! The HP S101 Speaker Bar is compatible with the HP EliteDisplays and HP Z Displays. This uses a USB port to communicate and will not be compatible with normal TVs.
