I was on an uneven surface and closing the lid. The hinge was broken and part of the screen cracked. Thenew laptop is to replace the old one. I'll make sure use it ona flat surface.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Stephen De from Excellent, Fast Laptop My new HP Envy x360 14 is an excellent laptop. The AMD Ryzen 5 8640 is exceptionally fast. The laptop runs cool and there is no perceptible fan noise. The display is very bright (500 nits), so I normally keep it at 60 percent brightness. The 16 x 10 ratio is better, too, since it makes it easier to read and scroll text. I'm glad I got the 2880 x 1800 display because the colors and text sharpness are fantastic, and the high 120 Hz refresh rate makes a noticeable difference in scrolling and watching videos. The Envy x360 14 is a very sleek laptop and weighs only 3.06 lbs. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a light, well-made professional laptop.

As this is a customizable laptop, no battery life information is available. As with all batteries, the maximum capacity of any battery included in the HP Hardware Product will decrease with time or use, and the battery cycle life will vary depending on product model, configuration, loaded applications, features, use, wireless functionality, and power management settings.
