Four different web sites or apps to deal with. Downloads are a mess, wifi only connects if you use WPS and other than a couple features on the web sites its useless. One web site shows my printer the others dont. I would think with the tech world we live in this would be much easier. But, it is what it is. The printer gets the five stars because I like it. I used one a couple models above this one and it worked and lasted a long time. This is perfect for my situation but Im disappointed with some features not being available. I hope HP gets it together.

It is very substantial and does everything I wanted in a printer. However, I could not get it on the internet. I spent alot of time and finally called a friend who works in IT. He too, couldn’t get it to attach. I regretfully returned it. HP has made the return process easy which keeps HP in my stable of favorite companies. When HP solves the connection problem this will be a 5 ⭐️ printer.

At first I thought it was Norton 360, but even with that disabled the printer is shown offline. I have tried removing the printer and reinstalling all the software with the same result. Getting by with hardwiring the printer to my PC.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by STtb from Dead on arrival! Bought this to replace an older HP printer (HP’s recommended “replacement” model). Unfortunately it was nonfunctional out of the box. The HP app diagnosed a paper tray that wasn’t lifting. I own and have owned multiple HP printers and this is the first one with a moving paper tray. Clearly the mechanism has reliability issues. Annoying but better to fail at the beginning than in 6 months! Also the printer is rather bulky. All in all an underwhelming experience.

    Can this printer print on digital printed material? My old printer's fuser would get so hot it would burn images on the fuser.

    Hello. Thanks for your question. Yes, you can set up this HP LaserJet Pro 3001dwe Printer to have its own HP ePrint email address. HP ePrint essentially gives your printer an email address. As long as it is connected to the wireless network, you can email it from anywhere and the printer will print the email and its attachments. You can email the printer from any email address.
